Why is there still killing?
May God let us love with His love.

Note to self.

Cool it, dimbus.
Everything will work out fine. Enjoy your living.

A recent curiosity.

When did it become a good idea to say/think/eat/read/watch/listen to/do anything that wasn't beneficial?*

Didn't God give us free will to allow us to experience and know freedom in its fullest measures? What, then, causes us to so often reject the freedoms of His peace, for our lives and for each other?

He must really love us to let us choose.

*Assuming we hope to live lives of benefit to ourselves and others. 'Benefit' might find subjective interpretation, but I'll forge assumption's risks under the additional assumption that we'd all rather regard ourselves and each other positively or at least neutrally (if possible,) rather than with contempt or malice. Maybe we'd even like to work together toward something.

There are lawn service people in our yard. I'm afraid to stand from this prone position on the floor for fear (embarrassment)they'll realize I've been huddled in front of this couch the whole time. The noises stopped. Maybe they're gone. This feels like Jurassic Park.

AC(h)

Air's fine on its own, maybe we're the ones who need conditioning.
Nothing delights me more than to think about thinking, except for thinking itself
and writing about thinking about thinking, and what I think, and
the perfect sweet crunch of a Der Dutchman doughnut. amen

War. Huh.

"Every day, the warfare wallpaper inside the mass-media echo chamber is a bit more familiar, blurring the public vision into more drowsy acceptance of perpetual war."
