I have replaced the Spirit's best wishes for me with junk.
I want to reverse this, but cannot undo choices --
only push forward with each new, better one.

Whatever made me think my way was best?

Value and difficulty remain directly proportionate.
Only He has the power to join them.


Self-check:

This has come as the result of dissatisfaction with my current skin conditions, as well as what's underneath.  Unfortunately, the profoundest depth of these concerns goes only so far as my fatty layer, and not necessarily my heart.  Until I learn to prioritize, nothing will ever be as it should.
So what does this tell me?  Despite my diligence to internally deny any such notion, could it be I place more practical importance on everything temporary and external?

How would a life look, given total internal and eternal concern?

God, please help me care about what I know should matter most.
Please make my life into something extraordinarily radiant with Your glory.
Give me right motivation, by Your Spirit, and a right motivator, likewise.
Please.
Help me know you.
